Golden Flash Pride

Show that GOLDEN FLASH  KSU Pride!
Did you know that Kent State's iconic Golden Eagle, "Flash," was not always an eagle? Flash has been a golden retriever in the past, as well as a cartoon character named Grog, a lightning bolt, and even a character named Freddie Flash who wore blue and gold and rode a gold palomino horse.
The Flashes' mascot has had many different faces and names, but we love Kent State University's current mascot, Flash the Golden Eagle. He brings so much energy to the sporting events which he regularly attends and brings many smiles to the faces of his fans.
Each day we get the opportunity to meet people from all over the world who come to Kent to attend, and visit, our neighboring university. KSU has brought in thousands of people from all different cultures and walks of life, adding so much diversity to this historic town. We are proud to be a part of this community.
